Porcelain / Made in China

CCCLAY porcelain is made from an exclusive blend of premium kaolin sourced from Hunan, Jiangxi and Guangdong, China. The blend is formulated to meet the functional requirements of each cup design.

The porcelain body and glazes made from natural mineral raw materials are fired at 1,220°C or higher, forming a durable glazed surface with a glossy or matte finish.

Since it is handmade, each cup is not exactly the same. Imperfection is another kind of beauty. It should be understood. The cup may have tiny bumps or pores. This is due to the characteristics of porcelain and different production conditions or production processes. Please note that this is not a defect.

CCCLAY ceramic cups without natural lacquer (urushi), precious-metal decoration or a paint-pen signature are dishwasher safe. Hand wash natural lacquer and precious-metal finishes. Paint-pen signed editions require dry-cloth care only. Follow the instructions for your specific product.

• Porcelain firing: CCCLAY porcelain cup bodies are fired at 1,220°C or higher. Their high-fired glazes form durable glossy or matte surfaces.
• Delicate glassware: Hand wash Lantern Glow, Clear Octopus, Floating Life and Ripple. Do not put these four designs in a dishwasher.
• Catherine Gu signed edition: Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth only. Do not rinse, hand wash, soak or put it in a dishwasher.
• Elysian Pink Crackle: Dishwasher safe. Clean promptly after use. For stains, soak in water with baking soda, clean with a soft sponge, rinse thoroughly and dry with a soft cloth.
• Cleaning and drying: Use a soft sponge and dry with a soft cloth. Avoid steel wool and abrasive cleaning tools.
